    As a UPS Service Technician, working on AC and DC UPS systems and batteries, you will be responsible for:

    • Carrying out routine maintenance to a standard of the highest quality.
    • Fault find, diagnose and repair systems.
    • Carry out installation work.
    • Conduct charger and UPS upgrades and modifications.
    • Complete site surveys.

    The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

    • ONC in electrical/ electronic engineering (preferred but not essential)
    • Exposure in a relevant electronic/ electrical industry.
    • Knowledge of AC and DC UPS systems and batteries.
    • Be willing to participate in a call out rota.
    • Willingness to learn.
    • Be flexible and reliable.

    • Be confident with good customer service

    You will be travelling all-round the UK, but primarily in your own assigned area (Southern England and Home Counties), using your engineering skills to carry out routine servicing work on a range of generators in the range of 10Kva – 2Mva size range.
